In short

EnDocs AI converts ICO images into one PDF with a page for each image, in upload order. By default every page is A4 portrait with the picture at its original size in the middle. Ask for another page size, landscape, a margin, to scale pictures up, or to use only some of the images.

What it is

What is ICO to PDF?

ICO is the icon format used for website favicons and Windows icons. Icons are tiny, so turning them into a PDF is mostly for putting a set of icons on a page to review, print or share.

Upload one ICO file or many. Each becomes a page, in the order you uploaded them.

You can mix formats in one go: JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, BMP, ICO, HEIC, HEIF and AVIF images can all go into the same PDF. Images are only stored and converted. They are never read by the AI, and the text inside a picture is not read either.

Try saying

“Make a landscape A4 PDF of these images with a 1 cm margin.”

How to use it

ICO to PDF in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Upload your images

Add one or more ICO files, in the order you want the pages. You can add JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, BMP, ICO, HEIC, HEIF and AVIF files too.

  2. 2

Say how you want it, or leave it

With no instruction you get one PDF, A4 portrait. Or ask, for example "landscape Letter pages with a 2 cm margin" or "only the first two images".

  3. 3

    Download the result

Your PDF is ready, one page per image. Download it, or keep working on it in the same workspace: compress it, protect it or merge it with other PDFs.

Behind the scenes

How your file is processed

  1. 01

One page per image, in upload order

The first image you uploaded is page one. You can ask for a different order, or for only some of the images.

  2. 02

    A4 portrait, original size, centered

That is the default. "Original size" is the size the picture would print at: from its own resolution setting when it has one, otherwise screen size (96 dpi). A picture too big for the page is scaled down to fit inside the margins. A small one is never enlarged unless you ask.

  3. 03

The largest size in each icon is used

An ICO file can hold several sizes of the same icon. The largest one is placed in the PDF. Icons are small, so they appear small in the middle of the page unless you ask to scale them up.

Your file stays yours

60 min

Files are deleted automatically about 60 minutes after upload, when your guest session ends.

Tips

Tips for better results

  • 01

Upload the images in the order you want the pages. Page one is the first image uploaded.

  • 02

Ask in plain words: "Letter size, landscape, no margin" or "scale each image to fill the page".

  • 03

Say "scale each image to fill the page" to enlarge an icon. A very small icon gets blurry when it is enlarged a lot.
